Invitation and some guidelines for contributing.
Dear Friends,
We are redesigning our website: updating and expanding its active value for our Inayatiyya Healing family and many beyond it. We hope you will participate in shaping its content.
We have chosen three priorities on which to focus for now:
- actively interconnecting our healing work in many countries, groups and languages. This will also involve sharing information about developments, activities, courses and retreats;
- enabling each of us to contribute our experiences to make a living participation;
- giving access to the treasure of profound teachings about healing, both historic and current, through our Sufi and related traditions.
Inviting you
For this to become our new reality, it would be great if you would contribute. You might do it now, or in a few months or in a year, or later – but to keep in mind that our experience and thoughts and questions matter and will help our online friends. Please let us know what you are interested in contributing.
Format
We are interested in a range of longer and shorter contributions: from an article, to a report, to a reflection, to a question. It might be in response to something you have read or heard, or initiating a new topic – especially focusing on our healing dedication. This might include texts that are meaningful to you about healing that you have stored away somewhere in a file or drawer. We would also like to include healing poems, paintings, drawings and photos.
Guidelines
We encourage you to write creatively, from your body, heart and soul, and clear mind. We wouldn’t want you to feel you have to conform to a set style. So it is a delicate balancing between creative freedom and some simplicity and clarity which are needed online. Please include your photo and short biographical note and/or description regarding the healing you offer, to be published together with your text.
Languages
You may write in your own language if you are not that familiar with English. If you love to bridge language barriers translating into English from other languages, you are welcome to join our translating group ‑ please email us.
Editing
We have an editing group to help contributors. Writers are always helped by wise editors, who can, for example, notice things the writer has overlooked, or ask to bring out some subject a little more. They work with respect, so if they make any comment it is for the purpose of honouring your writing the more.
